A factory that flies

Contract manufacturing and engineering for drone makers

We build our own drones and fly them. Manufacturers and integrators can use the same lines, the same team and the same test site, under contract with AerialMetric SAS, our company in France.

What we make for you

  • Airframes and composite parts

Wings, fuselages, tail surfaces, motor arms: prepreg parts laid up in moulds we design and machine in-house.

  • Moulds, tooling and machining

Moulds and jigs made in-house from CAD, by CNC machining and 3D printing.

  • Electronics and wiring

Harnesses, wiring and integration of on-board electronics.

  • Sub-assemblies and complete aircraft

Assembly of sub-assemblies or complete aircraft, delivered ready to integrate or ready to fly.

  • Payload integration

The S330 serves as a platform to integrate and test your sensors and payloads.

  • Bench and flight testing

Ground testing on our benches, then development flight testing under Malagasy regulations, at a site about an hour from the factory.

Dual-sited, not offshored

Extra production capacity for drone makers and integrators who want to scale up without carrying the whole industrial burden alone.

  • Managed from France

Contracts, project management and R&D management from France; production and testing in Antananarivo.

  • Lines that can be duplicated

Moulds, written procedures and a team of five to six people: a new line opens when a recurring contract justifies it. Investment follows orders.

  • Competitive cost, ISO 9001 quality

Technicians trained to aerospace composite standards, an ISO 9001 quality system and written procedures that make every line reproducible.

  • Testing that shortens validation

Six years of working with the Civil Aviation Authority of Madagascar and an established flight-test framework: your iterations fly fast.

  • Can be brought back to France

The same production chain can be set up in France when a recurring series or a sovereignty requirement justifies it.

  • A country that can produce at scale

From its free zones, Madagascar already clothes Europe: the country knows how to build an industry at volume.

How a collaboration runs

  1. 01

    Transfer

A confidentiality agreement is signed before you send drawings or 3D models. We review manufacturability, then send a quotation: scope, lead time, acceptance tests.

  2. 02

    Tool up

Moulds and jigs made in-house from CAD; rapid prototyping before series production.

  3. 03

    Qualify

Pre-series, ground and flight tests under our test authorisations, ISO 9001 quality file.

  4. 04

    Produce

A numbered, traceable series, on a dedicated line when a recurring contract justifies it, delivered ready to integrate or ready to fly.

Contract terms

Contracting entity. AerialMetric SAS, our company in France (RCS Bayonne 908 565 617), can sign the contract. Manufacturing is carried out by AirProd, the group's design and production company, at the Ambohibao factory in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

What you keep. Your intellectual property and your customer relationships remain yours, by contract. The contract also sets out ownership of moulds, tooling and parts. We provide production, quality and flight testing.

Shipping. Delivery terms are agreed for each order.

Export control. Every request is reviewed — country, end user, intended use — against the applicable regulations before any offer is made. See Quality and compliance.

Who does the work

Our aeronautical engineers come from leading French engineering schools. Our Malagasy composites team was trained in Antananarivo in 2024 by an aerospace subcontractor to Airbus, Dassault Aviation and Safran. R&D is shared between our Antananarivo teams and AerialMetric SAS in France. The same team has designed, built, flown and maintained the S330 family since 2018.

Our quality management system follows ISO 9001 for the design, manufacture and operation of drones; ISO 9001:2026 certification is in progress.
